The Farm at Mills River

If you're interested in being near Asheville, NC, but in a quieter area, I suggest looking at the Arden, Hendersonville or Mills River area. One of my favorite newer subdivisions in Mills River is called The Farm at Mills River, aptly named because it used to be a farm, as so many subdivisions did. This one is an idyllic retreat for anyone seeking a serene and peaceful environment surrounded by natural beauty. It even has a small community fishing pond! The lots in this subdivision are larger than average, which is one of the reasons I love it.

If you're looking for a great neighborhood in which to plant some roots and build your dream home, this could be the place for you!

Only 6 lots remain available for sale, and you'd better grab one if you're interested! (I can introduce you to some of the local builders around here 😉) The minimum square feet needed to build in here is 1750, although most of the homes are bigger than that. Most lots will require either a crawl space or basement, and of course the house plans will be subject to review by the architectural committee.
