Housing Shortage: Nowhere to Go

With a lease back option, you can lease the house back from the buyer after closing for an agreed upon time. This gives you extra time to find a home, or to finalize things with a new home under contract. You can also ask that the closing date be extended to better suit your timeline.

Some realtors have relationships with rental companies and can help find you a place to stay for a long or short term need.
